Officially opened on January 4th, 2010, the Burj Khalifa Tower is part of a 2 km2 (500 acre) Downtown Burj Khalifa development.

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest skyscraper with 828 m (2'717 ft) to the top of spire.

Construction began September 21, 2004 with the exterior of the structure completed October 1, 2009.
