sustainable development goals

Find out more about CLA-VAL Europe’s work on the Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S) were adopted by all member states of the United Nations in 2015 with the aim of providing a common blueprint for sharing peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and in the near future.

Together they constitute an urgent call for action by all countries (developed and developing). They focus to eradicate poverty and other deprivations while improving health and education, reducing inequalities, and stimulating economic growth by 2030.

In addition, the SDGs aim to address climate change issues, including working to preserve our oceans and forests. The SDGs are a symbol of unity for people all over the world who are striving for a better future.
